DevCalc (we, our, or us) respects your privacy and is committed to being transparent about how this website works. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit devcalc.in, how we use it, and what choices you have. By using DevCalc, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you disagree with anything here, please stop using the website and contact us with your concerns.

This is the most important thing to know: all calculations on DevCalc happen entirely inside your browser. We do not receive, store, or transmit the numbers you enter into any calculator — whether it's your salary, loan amount, BMI, or any other personal figure.

Your calculation inputs never leave your device.

We collect two types of information:

1. Automatically Collected Information

When you visit DevCalc, standard web server logs and analytics tools may automatically collect:

• Pages you visit and time spent on each page
• Your browser type and version (e.g. Chrome, Safari)
• Your device type (mobile, tablet, or desktop)
• Your approximate location (country or city level — not your exact address)
• The website or search engine that referred you to DevCalc
• Your IP address (used only for security and abuse prevention)

2. Information You Voluntarily Provide

If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your company, website, campaign preferences, and indicative budget when you submit an advertising enquiry
• The content of your message

We use this only to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list. Our email service provider processes the message to deliver your enquiry and our reply.

We use the information collected to:

• Understand which calculators and pages are most useful to visitors
• Improve website performance, speed, and usability
• Fix bugs and incorrect calculation results reported by users
• Detect and prevent spam, abuse, or security threats
• Reply to messages sent through our contact form
• Evaluate and respond to advertising or brand partnership enquiries
• Monitor traffic patterns to plan future calculator additions

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to any third party, ever.

DevCalc calculators do not require an account and do not send the values entered into ordinary calculator forms to DevCalc. The site may use browser local storage for preferences such as theme, saved app-install choices, or tool-specific progress.

Browser settings let you clear cookies and local storage. Blocking optional storage does not prevent the core calculators from working.

DevCalc includes a Google Tag Manager container. Tags configured in that container may process page URLs, referral information, device and browser details, approximate location, and interaction events. Hosting and security systems may also retain standard request logs, including IP addresses, for reliability and abuse prevention.

Calculator input values are not intentionally sent as analytics events. This policy must be updated before any materially different analytics or tracking configuration is enabled.

DevCalc currently publishes its Google AdSense publisher identifier as account-verification metadata, but it does not load the AdSense advertising script or third-party display-ad runtime. The metadata value alone does not display advertisements.

Google advertising and cookies: Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to DevCalc or other websites when AdSense ad serving is active. Google and its partners use advertising cookies to personalise or measure advertising. Users can manage or opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings.

Before advertising is enabled for visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom or Switzerland, DevCalc will activate a Google-certified consent-management platform that lets eligible visitors consent to, reject, or manage advertising choices. Ad-serving code will not be enabled for those visitors until that control is configured.

Some pages on DevCalc may contain links to external websites — for example, links to government portals, financial institutions, or reference articles. Once you leave devcalc.in, this Privacy Policy no longer applies. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any external website you visit. DevCalc is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any third-party website.

DevCalc is served over HTTPS, which encrypts data transmitted between your browser and our servers. We implement reasonable technical measures to protect information collected through the contact form. However, no method of internet transmission is 100% secure. DevCalc is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

You have the right to:

• Withdraw consent for cookies at any time via your browser
• Contact us with any privacy concern or complaint
